Dr. Jaydeep Bhavsar has done his M.D.S. in 1993 and happens to be one of the original pioneers of Pediatric Dentistry in Mumbai and Maharashtra. He finished his M.D.S. with flying colors from Nair Hospital Dental College which is a premier college of dentistry in India (comparable to the top IVY League universities of USA). He has been a teaching faculty at the same institute for more than 5 years after M.D.S. during which he coached and tutored many dental students and budding dentists. He was also examiner at other universities in Maharashtra, to help build careers of other aspiring dental students. Another of his landmark achievement has been a milestone research in dental care needs and management of physically / mentally challenged children, the research of which has been his thesis submitted to the Mumbai University.

Dr. Bhavsar has many scientific articles in connection with pediatric dentistry published in national and international journals. He has also won Best Paper Awards at the national level, a remarkable feat not achieved by many. He was the only Indian to participate in the very prestigious Pediatric Dental Association of Asia held in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2004. His write-ups have been featured regularly in professional journals, health magazines, national newspapers like Times of India, and regional newspapers like Janmabhoomi Pravasi, Mumbai Metro etc.
He is also honored by being among the first Pediatric Dentists to have been inducted into the elite and exclusive Association of Medical Consultants (AMC), Mumbai. He has been an Affiliate member of the ADA (American Dental Association), an active member of the IAPD (International Association of Pediatric Dentistry), and also has been an active member of BDHF (British Dental Health Foundation) in the past.
Dr. Bhavsar has been in practice since 1993. He has his own dental setup at Ghatkopar. He is also a Consultant Pediatric Dentist since 2001 at the highly reputed Lilavati Hospital (one of the leading hospitals of India). His emphasis and stress on dentistry aimed at children and adolescents stems from the fact that dental health in society is as such neglected by and large and the dental health of children, moreover, is accorded the least priority, which is serious neglect. But now after almost 3 decades, Dr. Bhavsar has been able to put the confidence and smiles back onto the faces of scores of children, many of whom have by now grown into lively healthy adults. Dr. Bhavsar takes painstaking care and effort to liberally imbibe relevant inputs from the AAPD (Americal Academy of Pediatric Dentistry), SMA Nutrition United Kingdom, Sugar Association Inc. USA, EAPD & other informative resources as guidelines in his approach towards practicing Pediatric Dentistry & patients/parents education and awareness as will be evident in this website.

a. Each and every child has a fundamental right to his / her total oral health and we as pediatric dentists have an obligation to fulfill this faith.
b. The idea of dentistry for children is to restore the required dental health in a child and instill a positive dental outlook and attitude.
c. Since pediatric dentistry involves both parents and children, the parents automatically become part of their children’s dental health program. It is imperative that the parents get well informed and aware so as to assist their children in positive behavior and inculcate proper oral health habits.
Moreover, pediatric dentistry involves interaction with pediatricians, psychologists, and other concerned consultants. Dr. Bhavsar enjoys excellent rapport, direct personal interaction, and association with many leading pediatricians in Mumbai.
Dr. Bhavsar also has had the opportunity of personally treating the children of some of the very prominent & reputed Pediatric Surgeons, Uro Surgeons, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Gynaecologist as well as children of fellow dentists & anesthetists.
